Processor
A processor or central processing unit is commonly refereed to as the brain of the computer. It's basic job is to receive input and provide the appropriate output. This might seem like a simple task but modern processors can handle trillions of calculations per second.
Memory
Most computers have built in memory ranging from 500mb to 1tb+. The memory is used to store information that you have saved on your computer. RAM is Random Access Memory and is made up of many different memory chips. Every time you open a program it gets loaded from the hard drive to the RAM.
