3G/4G
3G/4G is a term used to describe the third and forth generation of wireless service. 4G is an upgrade from 3G and is only available in limited areas. 4G wireless is supposed to be 4 to 10 times faster than 3G.
Bluetooth
Used more often to wirelessly link phones, computers and other network devices from a shot distance to transfer files from your phone onto your computer or vice versa. Bluetooth is used to send your friends songs or pictures etc if they dont have them. This is a quick and easy way to get songs they don't have.
The two most common wireless capabilities are WI-FI and Bluetooth. WI-FI is used for wireless networking. If you have a wireless router it provides access to the Internet to anybody who is connected to the wireless network. All phones have built in Bluetooth and most computers have them now it allows you to transfer data wirelessly from a short distance.
NIC- Network Interface Card
This card physically makes the connection between the computer and the network. Most are designed for a particular type of Network. Some cards work with wired connections while others are wireless. In new computers many are pre-installed by the manufacturer.
